{"id":16288,"date":"2024-06-17T11:51:56","date_gmt":"2024-06-17T11:51:56","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/dpoassociates.eu\/?p=16288"},"modified":"2024-06-17T11:55:18","modified_gmt":"2024-06-17T11:55:18","slug":"onzichtbare-bedreiging-voor-privacy","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/dpoassociates.eu\/nl\/onzichtbare-bedreiging-voor-privacy\/","title":{"rendered":"Onzichtbare Bedreiging Voor Privacy"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Inleiding<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Bedrijven gebruiken persoonlijke gegevens om hun marketingcampagnes te optimaliseren, nauwkeurige analyses uit te voeren en hun bedrijfsstrategie\u00ebn te verbeteren. Maar terwijl de waarde van gegevens toeneemt, nemen ook de zorgen over privacy en gegevensbescherming toe! Een groot aantal gebruikers beseft niet dat ze via iets eenvoudigs als een link al controle over hun gegevens kunnen verliezen.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"h-de-rol-van-gdpr-en-eprivacy\">De rol van GDPR en ePrivacy<\/h4>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">In 2018 bracht de invoering van de Algemene Verordening Gegevensbescherming (AVG) een belangrijke verschuiving teweeg in hoe bedrijven met persoonsgegevens moeten omgaan. Deze verordening, samen met de ePrivacy-verordening, legt de nadruk op het verkrijgen van expliciete toestemming van de gebruiker voordat er gegevens worden verzameld en verwerkt. Volgens de AVG\/GDPR moet toestemming:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>Vrij gegeven zijn:<\/strong> Gebruikers moeten een echte keuze hebben zonder druk of negatieve gevolgen.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Specifiek zijn<\/strong>: De toestemming moet voor een duidelijk omschreven doel worden gegeven.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Ge\u00efnformeerd zijn:<\/strong> Gebruikers moeten volledig worden ge\u00efnformeerd over wat ze toestaan.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Ondubbelzinnig zijn: <\/strong>Toestemming moet door een duidelijke actieve handeling worden gegeven.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"h-hoe-links-je-privacy-kunnen-bedreigen\">Hoe links je privacy kunnen bedreigen<\/h4>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Links lijken op het eerste gezicht onschuldig, maar kunnen een sluipende bedreiging vormen voor je privacy. Veel bedrijven gebruiken trackinglinks of URL-verkorters die informatie over de gebruiker verzamelen zodra deze op de link klikt. Dit kan vari\u00ebren van locatiegegevens en apparaattypes tot het surfgedrag en andere persoonlijke informatie. Ondanks de bescherming die de GDPR biedt, kan het klikken op een link al leiden tot het onbewust delen van je gegevens.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"h-wat-kun-je-doen\">Wat kun je doen?<\/h4>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Om je privacy beter te beschermen, kun je een aantal stappen ondernemen:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ol class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>Wees bewust van trackinglinks<\/strong>: Wees kritisch over links die je ontvangt en klikt, vooral als ze van onbekende bronnen komen.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Gebruik privacytools<\/strong>: Er zijn tools en browserextensies beschikbaar die trackinglinks blokkeren en je privacy beschermen.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Lees de privacyverklaringen<\/strong>: Voordat je op een link klikt, neem de tijd om de privacyverklaring van de website te lezen, zodat je weet welke gegevens mogelijk worden verzameld.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Huidige Situatie<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Het naleven van gegevensbeschermingsregels, zoals de AVG en ePrivacy, komt in het gedrang wanneer linkmanagementplatforms gebruikersgegevens verwerken zonder de juiste toestemming te verkrijgen. Deze overtreding gebeurt vaak wanneer gebruikers op links klikken die worden gedeeld via verschillende platforms, zoals websites, sociale media, berichtenapps en andere online kanalen. Wanneer een gebruiker op een verkorte link klikt, kan het linkmanagementplatform op de achtergrond persoonlijke gegevens verzamelen en verwerken zonder dat de gebruiker hiervan op de hoogte is of toestemming heeft gegeven.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Gegevensverzameling<\/h4>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Verzamelde informatie\/gegevens omvat:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>IP-adres<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Geolocatiegegevens<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Apparaattype en model<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Browsertype en versie<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Besturingssysteem<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Taalinstellingen<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Verwijzende website of app<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Tijdstippen van klikken<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Gebruikersgedrag en interacties op de bestemmingswebsite<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Tijdens hun online activiteiten stuiten gebruikers vaak onbewust op verkorte links die door linkmanagementplatforms zijn gegenereerd. Bij het klikken op deze links worden ze direct doorgestuurd naar de gewenste bestemming zonder dat er enige vorm van opties, beleidsinformatie of openbaarmaking wordt gepresenteerd. Dit gebrek aan transparantie en keuze belemmert gebruikers in het nemen van weloverwogen beslissingen over hun persoonlijke gegevens, wat een duidelijke schending vormt van de GDPR- en ePrivacy-regelgeving.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Bovendien schendt het ontbreken van een afmeldmogelijkheid voor gegevensverzameling of de mogelijkheid om privacybeleid in te zien de principes van gegevensbescherming door ontwerp en standaardinstellingen, zoals beschreven in de AVG. Deze inbreuk is bijzonder zorgwekkend gezien het grote aantal gebruikers dat dagelijks wordt be\u00efnvloed en de toenemende afhankelijkheid van linkmanagementplatforms voor verschillende online activiteiten, zoals marketing, contentdeling en analyses.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"h-conclusie\">Conclusie<\/h4>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">De AVG en ePrivacy-verordening bieden een belangrijke bescherming, maar het is aan de gebruikers zelf om actief hun privacy te beschermen.
